Hi, Welcome to Heng's homepage!

I am a Principal IC Design Scientist in Broadcom Corporation, Irvine CA. I have been serving as an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I (TCAS I) since 2016. Before that, I was the guest editor and associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II (TCAS II). I was also the track chair for the IEEE Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems(MSWSAS) in 2019. My research interests include High-speed Serial links, Data converters, and RF circuits.

I received my Ph.D degree in Analog/Mixed Signal/RF IC design from Texas A&M University in 2010, under the guidance of Prof. Edgar Sánchez-Sinencio. I received my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Peking University in 2004. I also got a business management certificate in Mays Business School of Texas A&M University in 2008. I have published peer-reviewed journal/conference papers with 1000+ citations. I have served as a reviewer for 20+ IEEE  Journals/Conferences. I am the recipient of 2010 Chinese Government National Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad.
